TCRAS

At The Compass Team Real Estate Group, we are passionate about helping our clients make the best real estate decision for them and their family. We understand the complexity of the market and take pride in our personalized approach.

We believe in giving back to our community and strive to make a difference in the lives of others. A passion of mine outside of real estate is animals, which is why I sit on the board of directors for Teller County Regional Animal Shelter.

HISTORY

In 1998 I created and formed the Rescue Animal Fund for Teller County and assisted in privatizing our County Animal Shelter, now the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter, TCRAS, a No-Kill facility. I was also on the board of directors for Mariah's Promise an animal sanctuary for our area.

In 2014 I became a board member of Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS).

ADOPTION

At TCRAS, our mission is “Fostering Hope and New Beginnings.”

As a limited admission shelter, we give each companion pet that enters our doors the time, medical attention and training necessary to find a new leash on life. We do not euthanize for time or space and cared for 882 companion pets in 2020 with a save rate of 98.8% based on Asilomar data.

Have you ever wanted to spend time with a dog on your day off, but don’t have the time to own a dog? Or maybe just want to give a shelter pup a wonderful day away from the stresses of the shelter?

Doggy Day Out gives you a chance to take a shelter dog out for the day and go explore the great area of Teller County. You do not have to be a resident of Teller County, this is a program for anyone who wants to be a part of it.
