Teller County Regional Animal Shelter

At The Compass Team Real Estate Group, we are passionate about helping our clients make the best real estate decision for them and their family. We understand the complexity of the market and take pride in our personalized approach.

We believe in giving back to our community and strive to make a difference in the lives of others. A passion of mine outside of real estate is animals, which is why I sit on the board of directors for Teller County Regional Animal Shelter.

How We Are Involved

In 1998 I created and formed the Rescue Animal Fund for Teller County and assisted in privatizing our County Animal Shelter, now the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter, TCRAS, a No-Kill facility. I was also on the board of directors for Mariah's Promise an animal sanctuary for our area.

In 2014 I became a board member of Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS).

- Jennifer Erdley

As a passionate supporter of Teller County Humane Society / TCRAS (Teller County Regional Animal Shelter), I am proud to stand behind the incredible work they do right here in Divide, Colorado.

TCRAS is a private, limited-access 501(c)(3) non-profit and the only animal shelter serving Teller County and the broader Pikes Peak region. Operating without state or federal funding, TCRAS relies entirely on individual donors, local businesses, grants, and fundraising events to fulfill its lifesaving mission.

Because TCRAS is a limited-admission shelter, no animal is ever euthanized for time or space. Instead, every companion pet receives the dedicated time, medical care, and training needed for a true "new leash on life." The shelter specializes in taking on tough cases and pets with special needs that other facilities simply don't have the resources to support.

Beyond adoptions, TCRAS serves our entire community by offering vital programs—including financial assistance for low-income spay and neuter services and low-cost vaccination clinics across rural Teller County.

I’m honored to partner with and support TCRAS as they keep our local animals happy, healthy, and cared for.
